Has the time to quit come?
If you have decided that it is time to stop smoking we advise that you contact one of the clinics that apply MORA-Therapy as soon as possible. We are sure we can help...
Getting an appointment... Initially set a date on your mind to stop smoking and get an appointment. Please try to keep to the appointment and do not postpone. Specifying the day you will stop smoking will allow you to mentally prepare for the process and help prevent you to postpone this decision.
Please choose the time to quit smoking at a time where you are not overloaded with work or other responsibilities or especially under any kind of heavy stress. Females should always avoid this date to be just before the start of their menstruation period. It is best if you choose a date that is important to you. Nevertheless this is not a necessity. You could be fooling yourself to postpone the date of quitting smoking.
Keep smoking... Do not try to reduce the amount of daily consumption before treatment. Do not quit for half a day and restart. Don’t try to test yourself. Keep smoking the same amount. Don’t forget that the more you try to reduce the amount you smoke the more you will feel addicted.
Do not consume alcohol the night before... It’s best if you do not consume any alcohol the night before and preferably a few days before. Do not consume coffee in the last 6 hours before treatment. Start consuming lots of liquids and especially water a day before the treatment.
Continue to smoke cigarettes. Please make sure you have only 2 cigarettes of the brand you normally prefer with you for the treatment.
The effect of MORA-Therapy will start at the moment the application begins but the complete effect will happen within 48 hours, that is when most of the poisons in cigarettes is discharged and the cleansing starts. Exposure to environments with lots of cigarette smoke is something we do not prefer for the first few days after the treatment.
Drink lots of water... After the treatment the individual should drink lots of water (3lt/day) and especially in the first 48 hours. Alcohol should not be consumed in the first 48 hours. Please be informed that individuals may feel tiredness and a mild smell of ashes on the skin for a few days after the treatment.
The greatest advantage of MORA-Therapy is that it allows for us to “make the behaviour that would bring desire for smoke”. By the effect of therapy you would do these behaviours without so much carving. We are going to ask you to resume your normal life-style completely after the 2nd day. The only change will be that you will not be smoking.
